Serving as the financial leader on a fractional basis. Providing monthly financial analysis, board, bank and private equity presentations, ad hoc council for any financial leadership issues and serving as additional layer for financial controls.

Interim Controller

Working as transition Controller to cover family leave, sudden employee exits, upgrade of the position. Filling Controller role during the process of hiring a permanent Controller, including assisting with hiring, job applicant review/training and improving and documenting controls.

Project Leadership

Preparing client financial records for taxes and/or year-end auditing (including SEC reporting) when limited bandwidth, turnover or new ownership or structures requires complementary help within a time sensitive period.

Training and creating new processes for employees to close financial records more quickly

Assessing staffing – including cuts, new hires, changes in job functions, ability to be promoted and what changes can be made in the increasing virtual workspace model

Fundraising efforts through business plan writing assistance, forecast modeling, entity structure and ownership options (post and pre money)

Exit planning, assessment of new ventures, leverage modeling and due diligence support

Accounting or Bookkeeping

Manage daily, monthly, quarterly, annual financial reporting through outsourcing to another member of Devany’s network or finding an appropriate blended rate to perform duties himself for the best, most effective and reasonably priced client solutions.
